4. Barber made Akbar agree to send Birbal to paradise. No one
can go to paradise alive. So the barber thought his plan was
brilliant as Birbal would now have to die.
5. Birbal smelled some fishy in the whole matter but he wanted
to teach barber a lesson. So he got ready to go to paradise.
6. Birbal wanted to be buried alive because he had already made
a plan to escape himself from this burial.
7. Akbar had understood the plan of Birbal sending barber to
paradise. He understood that the barber had planned against
Birbal to get Birbal’s position in the empire. Now the barber
himself had fallen into the same trap that he had set for
Birbal.
8. Barber was a cunning person. He always thought that he was
as witty and clever as Birbal. He was the most envious to
Birbal. He knew that favour with Akbar brought fortune for
him. So, he plotted against Birbal and made a cunning plan
to kill Birbal. No, I don’t like him.
9. The last sentence of the story said by the narrator, “He had
fallen into the same trap that he had set for Birbal†reflects
the moral of the story.
